Reading Money
More Clearly, at 40+
Workshops and guided conversations for adults who want to understand their financial documents, retirement questions, and healthcare costs — without being sold anything.
Our Programmes
Three carefully considered offerings, each designed around a different aspect of financial life for adults in their 40s, 50s, and 60s.
Reading the Statement
A single-day workshop that demystifies bank statements, fund factsheets, policy summaries, and provident fund reports. Participants bring their own documents and leave with a practical checklist for next time.
- Documents from Thai banks and brokerages
- Small group, facilitator-led format
- One-page take-home checklist included
Conversations About Money in Later Life
Three evenings pairing short readings on personal finance with structured discussion — retirement adjustments, family roles in household finance, and the patience needed through market cycles.
- Thai-context financial texts
- No personal numbers required to share
- Led by a financial educator, not a salesperson
Healthcare & Long-Term Care Planning
Two sessions covering the financial side of healthcare for adults 40+: private vs public coverage, provincial hospitals, supplementary insurance, and caring for ageing parents alongside your own needs.
- Printed planning workbook included
- Follow-up phone review after six weeks
- No insurance products recommended
What Sets Our Approach Apart
We teach, not sell. Every programme is built around comprehension and confidence, not product placement.
Educators, Not Advisors
Our facilitators are financial educators with Thai market experience. They explain, they do not recommend products or earn commissions.
No Sales Pressure
You will never be presented with insurance or investment products during any Suvanna Wealth session. The focus stays on understanding, not upselling.
Designed for Adults 40+
Content, pacing, and format are built around the questions that tend to arrive in midlife — not the generic topics found in standard financial courses.
Thai Context Throughout
Examples draw on Thai banks, provident funds, Social Security Office rules, and the realities of provincial versus Bangkok healthcare access.
Privacy by Design
Participants are never asked to share account numbers or personal figures. You can engage fully in every session while keeping your finances private.
Clear, Jargon-Light Language
Every session is written for an intelligent adult reader, not for someone already fluent in financial terminology. Definitions are offered generously.
A Question Worth Sitting With
When was the last time you felt genuinely confident reading a financial document? If it has been a while — or never — one of our workshops might be a useful next step.
Common Questions
Who are these workshops for?
Adults 40 and older who feel they could read their bank or investment statements with more confidence — and who prefer a thoughtful learning environment over a sales presentation. No prior financial knowledge is needed.
Are the programmes conducted in Thai or English?
Both options are available depending on the scheduled cohort. Please mention your preference when you enquire and we will match you with an appropriate session.
Will I be asked to share my personal financial information?
No. In the documents workshop, participants who bring their own statements are encouraged to redact account numbers first. In discussion sessions, you share only as much as you feel comfortable with — questions are welcomed, personal figures are not required.
How many people are in each session?
Sessions are kept small — typically eight to twelve participants — so that the facilitator can attend to individual questions and the atmosphere remains conversational rather than lecture-like.
Are investment or insurance products offered during or after the sessions?
No. Suvanna Wealth is an education provider. We have no financial relationship with insurance companies, fund managers, or brokerage firms. Our facilitators do not hold sales licences and do not benefit from any product you purchase elsewhere.
How do I pay, and are the fees inclusive of all materials?
Payment is made in Thai Baht by bank transfer or at the venue. The stated fee covers all materials for the session — workbooks, checklists, and (for the healthcare programme) the six-week follow-up phone review.
