Our Programmes
Three Pathways Into Financial Clarity
Each programme addresses a distinct area of financial life for adults 40+ in Thailand — chosen because they are areas where comprehension genuinely makes a difference.
Back to HomeOur Teaching Approach
Every Suvanna Wealth programme follows the same underlying structure — adapted to the specific subject matter of each course.
Grounding
A short reading or document review gives participants common ground before discussion begins.
Discussion
Facilitated group conversation — questions are welcomed; personal figures are never required.
Application
Participants apply concepts to their own documents or situations — with facilitator guidance as needed.
Take-Away
A practical tool — checklist, workbook, or follow-up review — leaves with every participant.
Programme 1 · Single Day
Reading the Statement: A Financial Documents Workshop
A single-day workshop that demystifies the documents adult readers receive from banks, brokerages, and insurers in Thailand — account statements, fund factsheets, policy summaries, and provident fund reports. Participants bring a few of their own real documents (with personal numbers redacted) and the facilitator walks the group through what to look for, which line items deserve attention, and what to set aside. The aim is comprehension, not action. Each participant leaves with a one-page checklist of what to ask the next time a statement arrives in the post.
What the Session Covers
- Bank account and savings statements
- Mutual fund and brokerage factsheets
- Life and health insurance policy summaries
- Provident fund annual reports
- Key ratios, charges, and line items explained
Included in the Fee
- Full day session (approx. 6 hours)
- One-page take-home document checklist
- Refreshments throughout the day
- Maximum 12 participants per cohort
Programme 2 · Three Evenings
Conversations About Money in Later Life
A three-evening reading group oriented around classic texts on personal finance, adapted to the Thai context. Each evening pairs a short reading with a structured discussion led by a financial educator. Topics include lifestyle adjustment in retirement, the role of family within household finance, and the patience required to weather market cycles. The conversation is the curriculum; participants are encouraged to share questions but never required to disclose personal numbers. Suitable for readers who would like to think more clearly about money without being sold a product.
Three Evening Topics
- Evening 1: Lifestyle and spending in retirement — what changes and what doesn't
- Evening 2: Family roles in household finance — Thai cultural context
- Evening 3: Patience and market cycles — staying calm over the long term
Format Details
- Three evenings, approx. 2.5 hours each
- Reading materials provided in advance
- No personal figures required to share
- Maximum 12 participants per cohort
Programme 3 · Two Sessions + Follow-Up
Healthcare and Long-Term Care Planning
A two-session programme on the financial side of healthcare planning for adults 40+: private versus public coverage, the role of provincial hospitals, supplementary insurance considerations, and how to think about long-term care for ageing parents while balancing one's own household needs. The facilitator is an educator, not a sales representative; no insurance products are recommended. Includes a printed planning workbook and one follow-up phone review six weeks after the second session.
Session Content
- Session 1: Public vs private coverage; provincial hospitals; understanding your current policy
- Session 2: Supplementary insurance; long-term care costs; planning for ageing parents
- Follow-up: Personal phone review at six weeks — questions from the workbook
Included in the Fee
- Two half-day sessions (approx. 3 hours each)
- Printed planning workbook
- Six-week follow-up phone review (20–30 min)
- Maximum 12 participants per cohort
