About Suvanna Wealth
Education First. Always.
We were founded on a single conviction: that adults in Thailand deserve access to clear, impartial financial learning — without being nudged toward a product at the end.
Back to HomeHow Suvanna Wealth Came to Be
Suvanna Wealth grew from a conversation that repeated itself across Bangkok in the early 2010s. Adults in their 40s and 50s — educated, working, thoughtful — would receive an annual provident fund statement and set it aside unread, not from indifference but from unfamiliarity. The document assumed a fluency they had never been offered.
The founders — a financial educator and a retired academic — decided that what was missing was not information but a calm place to sit with it. A workshop, not a seminar. A reading group, not a lecture. Something that left participants with a clearer mind rather than a product brochure.
Since 2014, Suvanna Wealth has run programmes from its Ratchathewi premises, keeping cohorts small, facilitators non-commissioned, and the conversation honest. The name comes from an old Thai word for the quality of light at the end of the afternoon — sufficient to read by, warm enough to settle into.
Our Mission
To make financial comprehension accessible to every adult in Thailand who wants it — regardless of their background, vocabulary, or existing knowledge.
Our Vision
A Thailand where adults approaching retirement feel prepared — not sold to — and where conversations about money happen at kitchen tables, not just in branch offices.
Our Promise
No commission, no referral fees, no product recommendations. Every baht we earn comes from programme fees, and that is the whole of our business model.
The People Behind the Programmes
A small, deliberate team. Everyone here is a teacher first.
Pailin Wongmanee

Nanthiya Kraikaew
Programme Coordinator

How We Maintain Standards
Small cohorts and a clear policy of educator independence are not accidental — they are built into every process we run.
Facilitator Qualification
All facilitators hold a relevant qualification in finance, economics, or public health, with a minimum of ten years of professional experience in their field before joining Suvanna Wealth.
No Commercial Affiliations
Suvanna Wealth maintains a formal written policy prohibiting facilitators from receiving referral fees, commissions, or any benefit from financial product providers.
Participant Data Protection
Participant contact details are held securely and used only for session administration. We do not share participant lists with third parties under any circumstances.
Post-Session Feedback
Each cohort completes an anonymous written evaluation. Results are reviewed quarterly and inform revisions to curriculum and facilitation approach.
Controlled Cohort Size
Sessions are capped at twelve participants to preserve the conversational quality of the learning environment and allow the facilitator time for each person's questions.
Annual Curriculum Review
Curriculum is reviewed each year against current Thai regulatory changes, Bank of Thailand guidance, and the Social Security Office's published figures for the coming period.
Financial Literacy for the Thai Adult Learner
Adults approaching retirement in Thailand face a landscape that is more complicated than it was a generation ago. Provident funds, personal income tax on investment returns, the shift from defined benefit to defined contribution pension arrangements, and the growing role of private supplementary insurance have each added a layer that was not there for the previous generation. Understanding these layers is not a matter of sophistication — it is a matter of access to the right kind of explanation.
Suvanna Wealth occupies a specific position in Bangkok's adult education landscape: it teaches financial subjects without selling financial products. This distinction matters because most financial education in Thailand is delivered by institutions with a product to offer at the end. A bank's retirement seminar will, sooner or later, arrive at the bank's products. Suvanna Wealth's programmes arrive, instead, at a clearer understanding of the participant's own situation — and then stop.
The programmes draw on Thai primary sources: Bank of Thailand publications, the Revenue Department's guidance on investment income tax, the Social Security Office's schedule of benefits, and the documents that Thai banks and insurers actually send to their clients. The aim is comprehension of real materials, not familiarity with abstract financial concepts.
Suvanna Wealth serves adults primarily in Bangkok and the wider Central region, though participants have attended from Chiang Mai and Khon Kaen. For organisations that wish to arrange group participation, we can discuss scheduling a dedicated cohort for employees or members.
